Supplier of Goods/Services

New Suppliers must complete and return a Supplier Set up form which will be issued by the staff member organising the purchase. Evidence of bank account details in the name of the Supplier must be provided with the form e.g. bank statement header.

Social Housing

Local authorities may provide social housing to you if you qualify and cannot afford to rent or buy your own home.

Choice Based Letting Scheme

Local authorities may offer choice to approved housing and transfer applicants in selecting a new home. Applicants can express an interest in houses which are advertised.

Residential Zoned Land Tax (RZLT)

The Residential Zoned Land Tax was introduced in the Finance Act 2021. The process to identify land to which the tax applies is ongoing and the tax will be due from February 2025 and payable from 23 May 2025.

The tax aims to activate serviced, zoned land for residential or mixed use. This is to boost housing supply and regenerate vacant, idle urban land. These locations have been identified within statutory land use plans as being appropriate locations for housing and they have benefitted from investment in the key services to support the delivery of housing.

Casual Trading Licence

You must apply for licence to the local authority if you are a casual trader and you want to sell goods in a public place or designated trading area.
