The twenty-first edition of Culture Night / Oíche Chultúir will take place on Friday, 18 September 2026. Brought to you by the Arts Council and managed and delivered locally by Galway City Arts Office, Culture Night is a national celebration of culture, creativity and the arts.
The Culture Night Galway City 2026 programme is now available, featuring a wide range of free events taking place across the city. From music and visual arts to theatre, literature, heritage and community-led activities, the programme reflects the creativity and cultural diversity that make Galway such a vibrant place.
Culture Night encourages everyone to explore, experience and enjoy culture in all its forms, while highlighting the valuable contribution artists, cultural organisations and communities make to life in Galway City.
