NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Galway City Council proposes to make an order closing:-
William Street West (L-5113): From Small Crane (L-5111) to Munster Avenue (L-5114).
Dominick Street Upper (L-5103): From Dominick Street Lower (L-5102) to William Street West (L-5113).
Ravens Terrace (L-5107): From Fairhill Road Lower (L-5108) to Father Griffin Road (R-336).
Period of Closure: Monday – Saturday: 6.00pm to 2.00am, Sunday 3.00pm – 2.00am from Friday 16th May 2025 to Sunday 28th September 2025.
Reason: Provision of space for outdoor dining, festivals, and events.
Advance diversion signage will be in place prior to work commencing.
Documents can be inspected at Reception, Galway City Council, City Hall, College Road, Galway, H91 X4K8, during office hours, from 9.00am to 1pm, Monday to Friday. Objections to the proposed temporary closure may be submitted in writing to Mr Patrick Greene, Director of Services, Galway City Council, at above address, or by email to: roads@galwaycity.ie not later than 12 noon on Thursday 1st May 2025.
