Galway City Council will be hosting a free day long event on the energy retrofit of traditional buildings on the 15th of November 2024.
Our historic traditional buildings account for near 20% of all buildings in Ireland. As we strive to reduce carbon emissions and energy bills, these buildings will play their part. However, a huge amount of damage can be done and costs incurred if retrofits are not undertaken with the right knowledge, care, and materials.
Conserving Energy = Conserving Buildings will bring together experts on the energy retrofit of traditional buildings to help you ensure that an energy retrofit can be good for the building, the environment, and you.
The event will take place at the Mick Lally Theatre, Druid Lane, Galway City.
