Galway City Council wishes to acknowledge the frustration of Motorists in the City today, with Pay and Display machines unexpectedly out of order. It was an unexpected inconvenience for both motorists and Galway City Council, and we understand the annoyance motorists experienced.
As previously advertised, card payment will not be available at Pay and Display machines from 7 January 2025.
Please note due to circumstances beyond our control, it is not possible to pay for parking by cash at Pay and Display machines at present. The machines are out of order until further notice
