The City Council may issue parking permits to facilitate people who are 'Residents' of Pay and Display Areas. Eligible residents may apply for the following types of parking permit:
Resident's Permit

You must apply for a licence to the local authority if you want to place a skip on a public road or footpath.

It is the policy of Galway City Council to accommodate and grant temporary road closures where possible to ensure effective traffic management.
