The Urban & Community Development Officers (UCDO) act as a vital link between Galway City’s communities and the Local Authority. Their role is to support community groups in delivering local projects, securing funding, and improving long-term community wellbeing.

Healthy Galway City is part of the Healthy Ireland Framework. Healthy Ireland is a government-led initiative aimed at improving the health and wellbeing of everyone living in Ireland.
