Roadsigns at mini roundabout on flooded prom in Salthill

High tide has now passed. There is some coastal flooding in Salthill. 

Road Closures Currently in Place:

• From the mini-roundabout at Salthill Upper/Threadneedle Road along Seapoint Promenade as far as Galway Business School

• Grattan Road from junction with Seapoint Road to Claddagh Quay junction with Fr Griffin Road 

 

Roads Open:

• Dock Road from Wolfe Tone Bridge to Lough Atalia junction with Fairgreen Road Upper (including Spanish Arch, Merchants Road and Wolfe Tone Bridge) 

 

Roads Closed in Morning:

• Mini roundabout at Seapoint to Galway Business School

 

Carparks will remain closed until tomorrow.

 

Clean up by our crews is underway this evening, and will continue in the morning.
