Galway City Council Initiates Engagement for Night-Time Economy Action Plan

Galway City Council announces a pivotal step in the development and vision of its Night-Time Economy Action Plan. As part of this initiative, the Council is actively seeking the input of Galway City businesses, residents, and visitors to shape the future of the city's evening and night-time experience.

Galway City businesses, residents, and visitors are cordially invited to participate in the initial stage of stakeholder engagement through an online survey. This survey, comprising both a questionnaire and an ideas map, seeks your valuable insights on the challenges and opportunities within the community.

The online survey will be open for 5 weeks and the data collected will form the cornerstone for identifying and prioritising key initiatives in the Night-Time Economy Action Plan.

Join Us in Shaping Galway's Night-Time Economy Action Plan

Galway City Council extends an open invitation to residents, businesses and visitors alike to be integral parts of this journey. Together, let's forge a night-time experience that is not only memorable and inclusive but also reflective of the diverse and dynamic spirit of our city.

The Night-Time Economy (NTE) comprises a collaboration of social, cultural, and economic activities that unfold during 6 pm and 6 am. In the wake of the NTE Taskforce Report, Galway City achieved recognition as one of nine pilot towns and cities, leading the charge in formulating and executing an action plan to elevate its night-time experience.
